CarePlus New Jersey is a northern New Jersey provider of recovery-focused mental health, substance abuse, and family services that address the unique needs of individuals with a holistic approach to recovery and overall wellness.

Operating out of 23 sites – including three outpatient centers located in Paramus, Fair Lawn, and Montclair, ten residential facilities, offices at three local hospitals, and seven community offices – our services are convenient to clients located throughout Northern New Jersey. We also provide educational programs on mental health-related topics to area schools and community groups.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Clinician will provide weekly therapeutic visitation sessions for parents referred by DCP&P (formerly DYFS) and their children who have been placed in foster care. Provides transportation, case management, assessments, intervention planning, client/family education, and daily program coordination. Functions as a member of an interdisciplinary team within the organization/department, provides leadership within the team, documents services in the clinical record, engaged in inter-organizational care coordination, and documents service outcomes. Participates in weekly team case conferences and trainings.

Must be available Monday-Friday and four evenings.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in a behavioral health discipline from an accredited college or university

  • Documented knowledge of and at least two (2) years work experience with children, adolescent, and families

  • Candidate must have a provisional license to practice social work/counseling

  • Must have excellent computer skills

  • Possess a valid driver’s license and must be insurable under Agency's automobile insurance policy
